I think I need to get one of those nifty tools (we have about 20 fruit trees). I've seen them, but have hesitated since I wasn't sure if they actually worked. It looks like the work great though!!! Where did you get yours?
Hi Karen! I bought mine at a small local farm supply/hardware store. I didn't know they existed until someone told me about them. Yes, they work GREAT for apples-and I would think for any fruit. I believe it only cost around $15. The kids have a blast with it, and it definately makes harvesting hard to reach fruit much easier.
These are really wonderful shots of apple picking! The apples look perfect, and I hope that there were some pies baked afterwards! Happy REDnesday! Carol
