On our way home from church last week, we saw this fussball (is that how you spell it?) table at the end of a driveway with a free sign on it. My kids decided that they should be the new owners, and I agreed. We loaded it into the car, and brought it home. We knew at some point we would get one, and now we have... and it didn't cost a penny! It's been in the garage since we picked it up, and that has really been a great place for it! They play it all the time on their way outside to play basketball or jump on the trampoline. I like the fact that the weather is now nice, and they are spending more time outside.
I have a little problem. I have been to so many yard sales lately and found so many great things to share with you, and projects that I will be redoing, that I feel as if I need to do multiple posts a day! Let me just say, you have lots of fun stuff to look forward to as I share my new finds, and creative ways to reuse them. I can't wait to show you! I found some beautiful linens, light fixtures, antiques, furniture, and all sorts of stuff~for pennies! I will share my tips in an upcoming post also.
Let me introduce you to the Molly dress! This is my latest etsy shop creation. I make the aprons from cotton napkins that I found at TJ Maxx! I love them. They are light blue, bordered in dark red, luscious raspberries! I think they make the cutest, most delicious, little summer play dresses! They could even be worn on fancier occasions. Very perfect for the fourth of July...
Last night we had the youth from our church youth group over. It was so much fun. They roasted marshmallows over the fire pit and made s'mores. They played volleyball and jumped on the trampoline. They are all such good kids. I love them so much. They are the kids that you want your kids to be friends with. They aren't perfect, but they try hard to do good, and live good, healthy lives. They don't swear, drink alcohol, smoke, or do drugs. They maintain high standards for moral behavior, and live clean, virtuous lives. They are great examples to their peers. They have to be so strong to make these lifestyle choices while most kids around them at school don't do the same. They are inclusive and love to invite friends from other faiths to join them. They are bright, funny, happy kids. I could go on, and on....
I hope you all have a fabulous day!
Love, Robyn
