5 minute Cinnamon Rolls
Merry Christmas! I will be posting more photos of my home, but I just had to share this quick easy recipe for mini cinnamon rolls with you. These are perfect for Christmas morning, and a cinch to make. They are so easy that you hardly need a recipe, and kids love to make them. Because there is no measuring required, my daughter feels like a true chef as she whips them out. The secret? A tube of Pillsbury Grand buttermilk biscuits.
Simply preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pop open the can and separate the 8 large biscuits.
With a spoon, flatten each biscuit one at a time. (Kids might want to use a rolling pin for fun!)
Spread a little bit of butter on each one, and then sprinkle with a little brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up, and cut into four sections.
Bake til done~about 10 minutes. Optional...After cooling, drizzle powdered sugar icing over hot rolls*
*For icing, dump about 1/4 cup of powdered sugar in a ziploc sandwich bag. Add a little bit of milk and knead with your hands to mix until it is the consistency of icing. Get the air out of the bag, and zip it closed. Snip a corner of the bag, and press the icing out onto the rolls. Or, you can just mix the powdered sugar and milk in a bowl and then drizzle it on with the back of the spoon.
Pop into your mouth and enjoy! :)
