My dad gave me the coolest vintage paper coasters with a stamped image of Santa on them.  There is no way I would ever use these beauties as coasters, so I came up with another way to enjoy them.  I took them to the copy center and had them reproduced as gift tags.  (see photos).

I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do!~I have modified them so that you can print them from your home printer.   Simply copy the image below into Microsoft word, re size to your liking, and print in best quality on white card stock.  (I don't cut out each little individual scallop around the outer edge, I just cut them out in a circle).  I usually punch a hole near the top with a hole punch and then thread ribbon through to tie to the gift (or just tape it on)

They look particularly cute on white, red, or  brown wrapping paper (even paper gift bags) with red grosgrain, striped, or polka dot ribbon.

I wanted to show you a couple more vintage Santa's on display in my home.  The first hangs from my chandelier over my kitchen table (for good reason).  It is a little Santa with chimes.    Grandma got rid of all of her Christmas decorations the last time that I was visiting.  I immediately snatched up the Santa chimes because they have sentimental value.  Every year when we gathered at Grandma's house for Christmas eve, the Santa chime was hanging over Grandma and Grandpa's kitchen table.   That is where Grandpa hung it every year.  I love it when someone accidentally bumps him and the chimes ring~just another reminder of this wonderful season.

I purchased this Santa cookie jar from the thrift store last year!  He's in great condition.  He's not very big, but he looks so cute in my kitchen.  (See photo at start of post also).

Well, I'm off to start my busy day.  I hope that you have a wonderful weekend, and that you are able to enjoy the spirit of the season despite the hustle and bustle!

Love,
Robyn
