My favorite little shop in Bethlehem, PA

Remember my favorite little shop in Bethlehem?  I just had to stop by to see how she was dressed for the holidays, and the first thing that I noticed was that Maureen had painted her black doors red!  You gotta

love it.

I want some of that big, fat, red ribbon with the white polka dots that holds her wreaths!  I like how she mixed two different scales of red/polka dot ribbons together~one large, one small.

I told you that I would show you the inside sometime, so here we go!  I haven't brought anything in lately to sell, especially since this blog keeps me pretty busy.  The only thing that I currently have in there is this little canvas paper doll painting (which can be personalized on her tag below her feet!)  I've sold everything from little girl's dresses and  ice cream sundae sets, to vintage stained glass windows.

My sister in law was with me when we stopped in, and she found the cutest tablecloth! (see photo below)  It has light blue and cream checkers with vintage cheese and milk labels, and it's trimmed in white ruffle with blue polka dots.  Love it.

Look at that precious reindeer sweater!

It's a little shop, with lots to see.  The front of the store features unique jewelry, handbags, scarves, and cozy pajamas, while the back of the store spotlights kitchen stuff (linens, aprons, jams, tea etc.) and unique children's clothing, toys, and art.  It was an overcast day when I stopped in, so the photos are kind of dark.

If you find yourself in downtown Bethlehem, PA, you will also have to stop at the Moravian Book Shop, which claims to be the oldest continuously operated bookstore in the world.  There you will find one of the biggest collections of Moravian stars ever.  They range in size from 3 inches to 3 feet!  It is fun to drive around Bethlehem and vicinity to see all the many porches decorated and lit up with these beautiful stars.  Many stay up year round.

I like the way this white glittered dove ornament is hung from what appears to be silver spray painted branches~there's an idea!

As we were driving home, I saw another house with a red door and I had to stop to snap a photo!
